Description

The James Baroud Space is made with the quality you expect from this company. With the same glass reinforced polyester shell, 6-layer aluminized fabric, dust filtered vents and solar powered fan. What sets the Space apart from the rest is its hybrid raising of the roof. Instead of popping straight up to level, or remaining closed at one end, this one pops up halfway at the front leaving the roofline angled. This can help with circulation as the heat rises along the roofline and expels out an open window or through the solar powered fan. The super strong mesh (they towed a truck with it!) will keep the bugs out while the canvas reduces UV penetration and keeps you dry while remaining breathable.

James Baroud is the only manufacturer to feature a solar powered exhaust fan in their hard shell tents to reduce condensation. The ventilation fan is completely waterproof and can run on 24 hours on a single charge. Additional air vents with integrated dust filters provide air circulation inside the tent while in transit. All hard shell tents also feature a removable LED rechargeable flashlight with a reading and spot mode. The light is made of a tough polycarbonate and includes a charge indicator and USB charging cord.

The hard shell roof top tents feature reinforced mounting rails integrated into the lower shell/platform of the tent, and include installation brackets allowing easy direct mounting to most aftermarket roof rack systems.
